The Beta Kappa Chapter of Beta Phi Mu is pleased to announce its 2010 Librarian of the Year Award recipient, Mr. Rickey D. Best. This award recognizes and honors librarians who have made an exceptional contribution to the development of professionalism among Alabama librarians. Mr. Best is currently serving as the Dean, Auburn University at Montgomery Library. The Beta Kappa Chapter of Beta Phi Mu 2010 Librarian of the Year award will be presented during the Chapter’s annual business meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Von Braun Center, Huntsville, AL. This meeting will be held in conjunction with the Alabama Library Association 2010 Convention, April 13-16. Once again, congratulations to Rickey D. Best.
